District Managers

Burger King Restaurants

District Managers overseeing Burger King restaurants are asked to meet four primary company objectives: fast service, superior quality, maximum profitability and image competitiveness.

Duties and responsibilities of District Managers include:

  1. Ensuring that all restaurants operate at a high quality level with emphasis on guest service while adhering to all health, safety and Burger King Corporation standards and procedures;
  2. Ensuring that operating standards optimize returns, increase sales and improve profits;
  3. Helping individual restaurant Managers recruit, train and develop Assistant Managers;
  4. With approval from the Human Resources Director, hiring, transferring and terminating Managers and Assistant Managers to ensure that appropriate people standards are met at each location;
  5. Analyzing and tracking controllables, sales and profits of the individual restaurants; and
  6. Helping Managers develop Operating Plans for their restaurants in addition to meeting established budgetary guidelines.

Tony Roma´s and Original Roadhouse Grill Restaurants

The same District Manager concept is used to supervise the company´s Tony Roma´s and Original Roadhouse Grill restaurants. Our District Managers visit the restaurants on a regular basis during business hours to assure that operations are running smoothly, working closely with each store´s General Manager and two to six Assistant Managers.

Responsibilities include supervising management personnel, hiring, dealing with food and equipment vendors, and seeing that the restaurants adhere to company policies and procedures.

At both restaurant chains, our District Managers´ goals include maximizing sales, profits and guest satisfaction by encouraging maximum efficiency from each restaurant´s operations staff.
